Matariki Luminary Workshop June 21st 10am

In this workshop you will create a candle or tea-light luminary for Matariki. You will get to choose from 3 different shapes; cylinder, ball or bowl, and build your luminRY by slab building techniques and carving windows and patterns to softly glow when lit from within. A relaxing way to slow-down during the mid-winter season, and make something beautiful by hand. Your pieces will then be fired and glazed ready in time to celebrate Matariki!

Located in Woolston, Christchurch, this workshop is a three hour workshop from 10am to 1pm. Suitable for ages 12 years and older. All supplies included.
