Gingerbread House Workshop July 19th 2:30pm

Celebrate mid-winter with a gingerbread house workshop! Your gingerbread pieces will be pre-cut out, leaving the whole class time for building and decorating! The gingerbread house will be made of a brown clay, which you will get to plan and cut out your windows and doors, and press in brick and shingle texture patterns. Then once we assemble our houses, you will get to decorate with white slip "icing", to create a gingerbread color combination. A relaxing way to slow-down during the mid-winter season, and make something beautiful by hand. Your pieces will then be fired and glazed ready in 6-8 weeks.

Located in Woolston, Christchurch, this workshop is a three and a half hour workshop from 2:30pm to 6pm. Suitable for ages 12 years and older. All classes are suitable for beginners, however previous workshop experience is suggested for this workshop. All supplies included.
